Large Vintage Branciforti Caltagirone Italy Centerpiece Marjolica Wavy Bowl

This beautiful vintage Branciforti Caltagirone Italy Centerpiece Majolica "Wavy" Fruit Bowl with lovely scrolled handles will be the center of attention in your home, measuring 14" long x 2 3/4" tall. It features a hand painted motif of half circles and scrolls in gorgeous colors of goldenrod, aqua, and Mediterranean blue. This "wavy plate" derives its name from the wavy form given it during the shaping. Hand-decorated, its colors are taken from the beautiful plumage of the peacock tail.

This piece is gorgeous and is in like new condition with no chips or flaws. Amazing detail that must have taken hours to paint. Signed on the bottom as shown in last picture.
